The sixth in our new series of Virtual Jog / Bike Ride DVDs has a 60 minute widescreen virtual tour through the Argyll countryside, one of the most beautiful sections of western Scotland. Filmed at speeds of 10 to 15 mph, it's the perfect accessory for your treadmill, spinner, recumbent or upright bike. Filmed in Widescreen with a professional television camera, you'll experience (at 10 to 15 mph) a springtime landscape featuring ancient rock walls, sheep and lambs, yellow gorse in full bloom, and remnants of the oak forests of the 1600s. The first section of your 60 minute virtual ride or jog begins in this peaceful Scottish glen. Soon you sight the first of the many grazing sheep to be discovered on this narrow winding road as lambs and their mothers scamper across the road in front of you. The one-lane road winds ahead through ever-changing scenery as you proceed on your one hour adventure. The pastoral scenery offers the jogger or cyclist a series of visual treats. Next, the viewer enters a more wooded section of Argyll and after passing over a narrow bridge, the road continues to curve ahead and the evergreen shrub gorse displays its vivid yellow flowers. Passing a stone cottage, the terrain becomes more varied with a low stone wall adjoining the road: then later, a beautiful lake. Rhododendron are in bloom and the ferns and grasses are lush. The scenery, ever-changing, continues to be interesting and beautiful. Your 60 minute virtual tour ends at the shore of Loch Awe. This DVD is accompanied by the natural sounds recorded on site in Scotland in Dolby Stereo.
